Yes, EQ can be that significant…. and to an extent, it’s something that can be honed.

In the last few years, EQ has been one of the topics that has become highly sort after within business communications training across industries.

EQ is an important component of every communication we have at work or elsewhere.

In this session attendees will explore the definition and importance of EQ and some of the fundamental skills of Emotional Intelligence. We will follow the simple Daniel Goleman model as a guide to the four key areas of EQ:

⋅  Social Awareness
⋅  Relationship Management

As with our longer training programs this session will be interactive and provide some practical tools to be applied right away.

Kate Lascelles, is an accomplished and energetic facilitator who has worked throughout Asia, Europe, UK, and Australia/New Zealand.Her ability to design and deliver powerful programs of work translates to business results for her clients and deep, on-going business relationships. The sessions are always interactive, engaging and practical in an effort to make the content useful and applicable for everyone present. Kate trained with the market-leading training company in Australia before coming to Singapore to set up their Asian business.

In 2007 Kate went on to establish The Open Space building a successful business and client base including Barclays, Citi Bank, RSA, ING, Ogilvy, OCBC, Avaya, Capitaland, Cisco and ANZ Bank. Kate sessions range from graduate training programs through to one-on-one executive coaching. More recently she has designed and developed a variety of Leadership Training, EQ and Influencing programs, alongside her highly regarded Presentation and Selling skills courses.

Kate has a Bachelor of education from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has Coaching accreditation from The IECL in Australia. She speaks near-fluent Bahasa Indonesia and is a trained actor.
