ITB Asia – Brand USA
Brand USA is present in Singapore for the first time to tap on the South East Asian markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. The growing South East Asian economy has seen outbound travel to the U.S. increase by 5% to 10%.
Present at ITB Asia are representatives of Brand USA, together with partnering U.S. Destinations such as Florida, Las Vegas, New York City and San Francisco.
Established by the Travel Promotion Act in 2010 and signed into law by President Barack Obama, the new public-private organization is responsible for promoting premier travel to the USA, and communicating U.S. entry/exit policies and procedures. Brand USA’s mission is to increase international visitation to the United States while working in partnership with the travel industry to maximize the economic and social benefits of travel. These benefits include creating jobs essential to the economy and fostering understanding between people and cultures.
